After our meal, the restaurant manager came to our table and asked us to check out at the host stand when leaving for a special tour. The peppers were sweet which was surprising but he also enjoyed his meal. My husband had the smoke and fire omelet. The funnel cake was light and sweet and the syrup over all of it satisfied all the sweet and savory flavors you look for in chicken and waffles. I ordered the chicken and funnel cake - the chicken was cooked perfectly, the breading had a great crunch to it. For drinks I had the blood orange mimosa - 9 oz is a large mimosa! My husband had the Breakfast In Bed cocktail which was tasty. 🌹 The biscuits with honey from heaven service was yummy! The local honey was so flavorful. They asked if it was a special occasion and since we were celebrating our anniversary, they put rose petals on our table. After staying at the Lodge for the night, we visited the dining room for brunch.
